Nico Rosberg As A Champion

Share

In the Formula 1, we said hello to Nico Rosberg in 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, for the first time since 2010 a new cahmpion.

Nico Rosberg was constantly criticized by our “talent hunters” and his weakness was often expressed against his team-mate Lewis Hamilton. On top of that, of course, the direction of the interpretations of the 2016 championship with fewer victories than Lewis Hamilton was the ideal conditions for attracting others.

In the face of Lewis Hamilton, who is constantly struggling with the influence of his private life, we are following Rosberg, who drove the 2015 output at the beginning of 2016 and spread the stability throughout the year. What else is needed to separate the two pilots using the same facilities that the same team provided? One thing: chance.

Yes, we have to admit that in the 2016 season there was a lot of luck with Rosberg. Not only in the Mercedes team as a team, but in the grid, Lewis Hamilton was the most technical problem among all the vehicles using the Mercedes engine. But do you know what that reminds me of? Rosberg of 2015. Zero points in two races, eight in a race and three wins in a row with spectacular end-of-season performance. How similar is two years to each other? As a result, 2015’s champion Hamilton was 2016 champion Rosberg, and we saw that the chance factor in the championship did not just contribute to Rosberg, as Hamilton implied and tried to lower the value. Talent, luck and the factor of being in the right place / right time were enough for Rosberg in 2016 and the German pilot evaluated it.

When we look into the future, with similar possibilities, yes, Hamilton may be more likely to reach new championships. But we have had a very valuable year in terms of realizing that Hamilton is not immutable, as in 2016, when talent, chance, and the right time / right time components are missing.

It should also be noted that trying to feed Rosberg to the rear, the only tactic of Lewis Hamilton in the last race, was to slow down and to be dirty by many Formula 1 authorities and pilots, as it was not ethical. If this is the only remedy in your hand, would you apply? Probably yes. Was it worth it? Of course not.

At the end of the day, I believe that Rosberg’s championship brings a new breath to Formula One. Next year we will meet in F1 with brand new technical rules and surprises!
